If you think you can be Simply the Best in the West, the ‘Never Mind the Business’ quiz night is returning for its third year to raise money for Action for Children.

The event will take place on October 18 at Brangwn Hall, Swansea, with a relaxed dress code.

A bottled-beer reception and a three-course dinner will also be included in the ticket price.

Tickets are for a table of 10 people and can be purchased for £600 with all proceeds going to Action for Children.

Michael Snowden, Chairman of  Douglas Jones Mercer Solicitors, the headline sponsor of the event said: “We are very excited to be able to sponsor this event which will be hugely beneficial for Action for Children. The charity is incredibly important and the work they do is fantastic. The event was a huge hit last year and a lot of fun, so we can only hope for the same success this year.”.

Gary Stevens, Area Managing Director for Towergate Insurance Brokers in Wales, said; “Towergate is thrilled to be a part of this event again this year, helping such a worthwhile charity raise funds. The sense of competition and comradery among the teams is great to see – and all in aid of such a good cause.”

Action for Children helps more than 387,000 children, young people, and their families every year in the UK, working through more than 476 local services. The charity works to protect those vulnerable from neglect and abuse whilst also supporting young people who are homeless, those who care for others, finding safe and loving homes, and giving children a voice through their campaign for better. The charity was established 150 years ago and has helped 17,000 children and young people in Wales through 80 projects and services.

Tickets for the event can be purchased from Nina Rice, [email protected], 07889887053 or 02920347060
