The operator is set to alter timetables across its network, with customers advised to check all changes before they travel.

Timetable changes will affect services 1 & 2, 6,8 & 9, 13, 17 & 18, 21 & 23, 24, 25, 28/28A/ 28B, 30, 35, 44 & 45/ 45B, 49 & 50, 51, 52, 63/ 63A, 64, 65/ 65A, 66, 92/92B, 93, 94/ 94B, 95, 95A/ 95B, 96/96A, 97/97A, 98, X45, X59, M1, M2, M2A and M3
Residents at Channel View will benefit from extra buses in the evening, due to financial support from Cardiff Council. New service 9A will operate between Heath Hospital, the city centre and Channel View in the evenings, Mondays to Saturdays.
In addition to timetable changes, the 28/28A/28B route in Llanishen will be changing too from 1st September buses will travel via Fidlas Road and Ty Glas Avenue between Rhydypennau crossroads and Fishguard Road rather than Heathwood Road and Crystal Glen.

Services 28, 28A and 28B will serve the length of Fishguard Road in both directions and stops on Heathwood Road will still be served by services 51 and 53.
Gareth Stevens, Operations and Commercial Director at Cardiff Bus said: ““After monitoring customer numbers and analysing results from our recent online survey, we’ve concluded that some peak 28/28A/28B journeys would be better suited to be operated by a larger bus. To achieve this, we have had to change the route as the route around Crystal Glen is not suitable for large vehicles.Some journeys on service 44 will divert via Pensarn Road and Hendre Road instead of Brynbala Way and/or Tresign Road at school start and end times.
Service 51 will start and end on Greyfriars Road in the city centre rather than Churchill Way, while the X59 will start and end at Dumfries Place HV instead of Churchill Way and will not run via Station Terrace.
Cardiff Metropolitan University’s MetRider service M2A will be renumbered M4, whereas the M3 will operate via Senghennydd Road, Woodville Road and Crwys Road instead of Mundy Place, Lowther Road and Richmond Road.
