Award-winning, pan-Wales training provider, Cambrian Training Company, is opening a new office on the Royal Welsh Showground at Llanelwedd, Builth Wells.

The company, which has its headquarters in Welshpool and offices in Holyhead, Colwyn Bay and Llanelli, has secured the lease of the former National Trust Pavilion on the showground following a tender process.

Part of the deal includes offering the host county the use of the building during Royal Welsh Show week in July. It is fitting that the first host county to take advantage of the generous offer is Montgomeryshire, where Cambrian Training Company has its headquarters.

The company began sponsoring the show president’s lunch the last time that Montgomeryshire was the host county.

“Cambrian Training Company is a pan-Wales organisation and we think it’s important to continue to develop the good relationships that we already have across the country,” said managing director Arwyn Watkins. “We are delighted to be in a position to support the host county at the Royal Welsh Show every year.

“It’s particularly fitting that the first county to benefit is Montgomeryshire and we look forward to hosting president Tom Tudor and his team during the show.

“Our new office enjoys a prominent position on the showground and is strategically placed in the heart of Wales, which makes it an ideal location to hold meetings and to service our clients.”

The two-storey timber framed building, located on one of the showground’s busiest avenues opposite the popular Bandstand, has 1,025 square feet of gross internal floor space together with 1,829 square feet of external decking beneath a large veranda.

The building has a ground floor reception area, kitchen and food preparation area and a store room, with an office/meeting room and WC on the first floor.

Cambrian Training Company is a provider of post 16 Further Education, specialising in the delivery of apprenticeships, Jobs Growth Wales opportunities and business training courses across a range of industries pan-Wales. The company specialises in tailoring training to meet the specific needs of employers and learners.
