    Man dies following carriageway collision in Swansea

    South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 16:00 hours on Saturday 30th November 2019 on the westbound carriageway of the M4 between Junctions 47 and 48, Grovesend, Swansea.

    It would appear that a grey coloured Audi Q3 car has collided with a local male who sadly died of his injuries at the scene.

    The westbound carriageway of the M4 was closed for approximately five hours to allow for investigation work to be carried out. South Wales Police would like to thank the community for their patience and understanding during this time.

    South Wales Police would also like to speak with any witnesses to the collision, any person who may have dash cam footage of the incident or anyone who witnessed the manner of driving prior to the collision. Please could witnesses contact the Roads Policing Unit at Lakeside Police Station on 101 quoting occurrence 1900441957.
