Debenhams Swansea is inviting local beauty and fashion fans to attend the ultimate shopping experience at a special Beauty Club evening.

The event – which is in aid of cancer support charity, Look Good Feel Better – takes place on Thursday 7 June from 4pm and will give Debenhams Beauty Club cardholders the chance to indulge in a glass of bubbly while enjoying:

    • Summer masterclasses looking at colour palettes, nails, fragrance and tanning
    • Mini treatments including nail paint and mini massages in exchange for donations to the charity
    • Personal shopper advice on the perfect holiday wardrobe and summer styling

Funds raised from the event will help Look Good Feel Better support the thousands of people across the country struggling with the visible side effects of cancer treatment.

Tina Evans, store manager at the Debenhams Swansea, said:

“We know that Swansea residents are beauty and fashion fanatics so we wanted to host a special evening which gets people summer-ready and raises money for a very deserving charity.”

Debenhams personal shoppers will be on hand to offer advice

In addition to the demonstrations, treatments and advice, attendees will also be able to take advantage of earning £10 of Beauty Club points for every £50 spent on beauty, an exclusive travel money rate as well as special offers on Tripp luggage – the perfect accessory for a summer getaway.

Sarahjane Robertson, from Look Good Feel Better said:

“Not only are events like this great fun, they also raise money to help local people.  Discovering you have cancer is life-changing and the visible side effects, such as changes to the skin and hair loss can cause added stress and lower self-esteem.  Attending a nearby Look Good Feel Better workshop can transform how someone feels about themselves and help them to face cancer with confidence.”

Attendance at the event costs £5.00. To join, simply sign up for a Beauty Club card by visiting https://www.debenhams.com/content/beauty-club or popping in-store.

Beauty Club is a reward scheme that enables customers to collect and spend points across over 200 beauty and fragrance brands both in store and online at Debenhams. It has more than 2 million members, all of whom take advantage of rewards on their favourite brands including Kat Von D, Make Up Forever, Estée Lauder, Chanel, Dior, Benefit, Mac and more. Members earn points on purchases, which can then be used as part payment towards any beauty or fragrance product, or pampering treatment in store & online.
