Zoe Harris has been appointed as chief marketing officer of GoCompare.com Group plc, and will be responsible for the development and delivery of overall marketing strategy for the Group’s brands including GoCompare, a leading UK financial services, utilities and home services comparison website; and MyVoucherCodes, the discount and voucher codes website that connects consumers with money saving offers from the world’s leading brands.

Zoe will join the Newport-based company later this year and will be a member of the executive leadership team, reporting into Matthew Crummack, CEO of the Group. Zoe brings with her a wealth of experience, having previously headed up various marketing functions for brands such as Channel 5, MTV and top-five advertising agency, WCRS. She will join GoCompare from Reach plc, where she is Group marketing director, responsible for building a portfolio of national newspapers, 130 regional newspapers, and over 100 digital products.

Commenting on her appointment, Zoe Harris said:

“GoCompare is a company with a clear purpose, a driven team and exciting plans for the future, so suffice it to say I’m really looking forward to playing my part in helping the Group realise its ambitions.

“The Group’s single-minded focus on helping people everywhere save time and money – be that on things they need or things they want – resonates with my experience of understanding what makes mainstream Britain tick, and finding new ways to make the everyday lives of people that little bit easier.”

    Matthew Crummack, CEO, added:

“It’s my pleasure to welcome Zoe to GoCompare, and I know that the rest of the senior leadership team are eagerly anticipating her arrival. Zoe’s background in media, with an enviable track record of helping develop some remarkable and impactful brands, makes her an ideal fit for the Group.

“Our brands are used by millions of people, helping to simplify choices and save them billions of pounds a year on everything from insurance to fashion, and we operate in competitive markets full of challenges and opportunities. I believe that Zoe’s wealth of experience and ideas will help the Group to save even more people time and money.”
