To celebrate the release of their 6th studio album, one of the biggest British metal acts in music history, Bullet For My Valentine will be heading out across the UK to meet fans at a series of intimate hmv fan events.

The band will kick off the signings at 363 Oxford Street on Monday 2nd July at 6.00pm with an exclusive instore performance before taking time to meet their fans. Following this, the band will host signing events at hmv Newcastle on 3rd July, hmv Birmingham on 4th July and finish in their home town of Cardiff on 5th July.

The signings will give fans the opportunity to get their hands on a signed copy of the band’s eagerly anticipated 6th album, ‘Gravity’ which sees the band stretch their creative wings like never before  and delicately balance film-score electronica with icy synths in their trademark hellfire of hard rock.

Talking about their latest album, founding singer and guitarist Matt Truck said – “Over the last 12 months, I’ve been thinking about the word contemporary a lot and I feel this is a contemporary record. It’s not an old school, heart-on-your-sleeve influences thing. We’ve done that so let’s move forward and make the band more interesting. We don’t want to alienate anyone… but we don’t want to write the same shit anymore. Metalheads will enjoy this, I actually feel the softer electronic parts make the heavy moments even more crushing. It’s about engaging the listener and taking them on a journey, messing with their heads a bit…”

    When is it?

    • Thursday 5th July – 5:30pm – hmv Cardiff

    How do I attend?

Access to this event will be restricted to wristband holders only. 250 wristbands will be available to customers purchasing any format of the album in person from participating hmv stores from Friday 29th June onwards, subject to availability and while stocks last. Online orders, including Click and Collect, will not be valid. Customers can pre-order the album in person to guarantee their wristband.
