The family of the motorcyclist who died on Sunday (6 Sep) in a single vehicle collision on the B4512 Penrhys Road, have paid tribute to him.

David Pritchard, 27, from Tonypandy, died despite the best efforts of the emergency services.

“Fly High Big Man,’ they said in their tribute.

“David was a local delivery driver. He was a funny, loving and a caring man who enjoyed life to the fullest.

“He loved his motorbikes, Formula 1 racing and rugby.

“He was a much loved son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin. He will be missed dearly by everyone who knew and loved him.”

Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the single vehicle collision which occurred at approximately 5.20pm to come forward.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or the green motorcycle in the moments prior to it, should make contact.

They’d also like to hear from anyone who has dash-cam, mobile phone or CCTV footage which could assist the investigation.
