Acorn by Synergie has strengthened its south Wales leadership team with a series of senior appointments and changes in the Industrial and Commercial sectors.
Sally Smith has been appointed Industrial Manager, while Ann-Marie Derrick takes on the role of Commercial Manager, providing leadership across two of the company’s core recruitment sectors.
As part of the revised structure, Acorn by Synergie’s Commercial Partnerships Director, Mark Rudge, will assume overall responsibility for both the Industrial and Commercial sectors, adding to his existing manufacturing, engineering and facilities management portfolio.
The appointments form part of a wider organisational development programme across the business.
The division previously known as Managed Services will be rebranded as Key Accounts, reflecting the strategic importance of this area of the business and the value Acorn by Synergie delivers to some of its most significant clients.
Angela Thomas will continue to lead the function as Head of Key Accounts (South Wales), driving the team’s focus on building deeper, long-term partnerships with customers.
Jon Romans has transitioned into the team as Operations Manager – Key Accounts, while Shauna Morris also joins the division as Account Manager, becoming another key member of the Key Accounts delivery team.
Bernard Ward, Managing Director at Acorn by Synergie, said: “These new appointments represent another significant step in our ongoing journey to strengthen our leadership team and build an organisation that is aligned for future success. Over recent weeks we have welcomed several talented individuals into Head Office, bringing fresh ideas, additional expertise and renewed energy to the business. Combined with the exceptional talent we already have across our teams, we are creating a structure that can deliver even greater results for our clients, candidates and colleagues.
“Looking ahead, the foundations we are putting in place today will enable us to accelerate growth, increase market share and further establish ourselves as the leading recruitment business in Wales and beyond.”
