    Aldi is recruiting new area managers across North Wales

    Aldi, the fifth largest UK supermarket is looking to recruit new graduates and those looking for a career in retail management into its Area Manager positions across North Wales.

    Aldi has more than 30,000 employees across the UK and has ambitious plans to open its 1,200th UK store and employ a further 20,000 colleagues by 2025. Aldi is looking for ambitious graduates and those with an interest in retail management for Area Manager Positions across its Neston region, which covers Liverpool, Cheshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and North Wales, to support this growth.

    Aldi Area Managers are responsible for managing and maintaining multiple stores and are involved in every aspect of the business; from managing and developing stores and their teams, to ensuring each store is meeting sales targets, while also liaising with the wider business to execute new initiatives. The role is fast-paced and varied, so it’s important that candidates are hardworking, driven and eager to learn.

    [aoa id=”1″]Those looking to apply for the Area Manager Programme must possess a 2:1 degree in any subject area however there are two entry routes based on experience. Graduates can enter the programme straight from University and receive a salary of £44,000, which rises to £75,360 after four years, whereas those looking for a change of career who have experience managing a team in a fast paced environment are eligible to enter on a year two salary of £51,760 which rises to £75,360 after three years.[/aoa]

    The Graduate Area Manager Programme is 12 months of intense training, during which colleagues are given unparalleled exposure in every aspect of the Aldi business. Receiving the necessary training required to successfully manage a regional workforce, from working side-by-side with store and Regional Distribution Centre teams, to immersing themselves in head office operations. At the end of the year-long training programme, Area Managers are then given the keys to their very own area of 3-4 stores and take full responsibility for operations in their designated area.
