A Welsh energy efficiency company is celebrating after taking home two UK awards. Consumer Energy Solutions (CES) was named National Renewable Heat Installer of the Year and National Insulation and Fabric Installer of the Year at the National Energy Efficiency Awards 2023. The Swansea-based company was handed the gongs at the ceremony, held at Hilton Birmingham Metropole on Friday (September 29), with the awards recognising best practice across the energy efficiency industry nationally. An outspoken pensioner from Gwynedd is returning in a new season of the popular Welsh language version of Gogglebox, it’s been revealed. Retired electrician John Williams, 80, who lives in Porthmadog, gained celebrity status with his hilarious, unvarnished views during the first series of Gogglebocs Cymru on S4C.
