FSA launches campaign highlighting risk of food labelled as vegan to people with allergies. The campaign comes as new research released by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) shows that 62% of people who react to animal-based products, or who buy for someone who is, are confident that products labelled ‘Vegan’ are safe to eat, which is incorrect and may be putting them at risk. Transforming North Wales into a low carbon centre of excellence has taken a leap forward, with approval of the outline business case (OBC) for Bangor University’s Egni Project. A rare painting by Howard Carter, the renowned archaeologist who discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun, has gone on display at Swansea University’s Egypt Centre. On loan from the Egypt Exploration Society (EES), the watercolour features a relief from the Chapel of Thutmose I in the mortuary temple of the Pharoah Hatshepsut in Deir el-Bahari near Luxor.
