Scottish rock giants Biffy Clyro delivered a spectacular headline debut at Cardiff Castle on Thursday night, thrilling a sold out crowd as part of TK Maxx presents Depot Live.
Renowned for their electrifying live performances, the band treated thousands of fans to a career spanning set of more than 20 songs at the historic venue, showcasing the catalogue that has established them as one of the UK’s most celebrated live acts.

Opening with fan favourite The Captain, Biffy Clyro powered through a string of anthems including That Golden Rule, Biblical, Black Chandelier, Mountains and Machines.
The band returned to the stage for an encore featuring Wolves of Winter, Bubbles and a rousing finale with their iconic anthem Many of Horror.
Reflecting on the night, frontman Simon Neil told the crowd: “Cardiff you have been amazing tonight. Thank you so much. Have a great summer!”
Mercury Prize winning indie rock quartet English Teacher joined the bill as special guests, while rising Glaswegian punk outfit Humour opened the evening.
The 2026 TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle series features a record 24 headline shows from some of music’s biggest names and continues on Friday with a headline performance from The Streets.
