Pembrokeshire Music Service’s Youth Brass Band excelled at the recent National Youth Brass Band Championships of Great Britain in Cheltenham. The Band competed in the Yamaha Performance section against 16 other bands from across the UK and were elated to be placed second overall. Their performances of Slaidburn march by William Rimmer, Bandstand Boogie by Stuart Johnson, Pater Noster by Rebecca Lunberg impressed the adjudicators, as did a solo spot from principle cornet player Carys Wood.
