Principality Building Society has committed its largest ever donation of £575,000 to 56 community groups and charities across Wales as part of the second phase of its the Future Generations Fund. Vaughn Rawson, who began his working career at 15 as a trainee butcher before turning to office supplies, now heads the Rawson Group which employs 30 people, and has expanded into the fields of IT Support and renewable power. The Flying Start Programme has expanded to include childcare provision for two-year-olds in Pembrokeshire. This is phase two of the Welsh Government’s Flying Start Programme in Pembrokeshire, which will provide high-quality childcare for a further 168 children aged between two to three years.
