It has been one year since missing man Mark Kinson was last seen in Cardiff. South Wales Police have renewed their appeal for information as the anniversary approaches, saying their thoughts remain firmly with Mark’s family and friends. Mark, who was 53 at the time of his disappearance, was last seen on Friday 31 January 2025 at around 9.45pm on Uphill Road in Llanrumney. He was then spotted approximately 15 minutes later, at around 10pm, on Captains Walk, walking in the general direction of Braunton Crescent. A man has been jailed after abducting a child and sexually assaulting three other children, following a South Wales Police investigation. Kai Giggie, 26, also known as Kyle Wellburn and originally of Aberdeen, has been sentenced today (Friday, January 30) at Newport Crown Court to three years in prison, after he pleaded guilty to child abduction, sexual activity with a child and two sexual assaults of a child. Police were called to an address at Llys Illtyd, Talbot Green at 6.10pm on Sunday, March 9, 2025, where Joanne was found seriously injured having been shot to the chest.
