On Sunday September 4, 2022, South Wales Police received a report that a 17-year-old girl had been sexually assaulted by Sean Ellis-Evans and Sarah Vigus. A 23-year-old from the Cardiff area has today, September 22, been sentenced following a proactive investigation led by Counter Terrorism Policing Wales. Nermin Onour was initially arrested in October 2024 on suspicion of encouragement of terrorism contrary to Section 1 of the Terrorism Act 2006. On arrest Onour was asked to provide her phone pin number and despite officers explaining that her refusal could lead to a criminal offence, she refused. More than 200 people (217) have died waiting for an organ transplant in Wales over the past ten years because they didn’t receive the lifesaving organs they desperately needed in time, new figures reveal. Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court has granted an Emergency Prohibition Order (EPO) on The Royal Oak Hotel, Lampeter, prohibiting the use of the bar and cellar areas. The Order confirms emergency action already taken by Ceredigion County Council to protect public health. The Council’s Public Protection team initiated its investigation after receiving a complaint from a member of the public reporting cockroaches.
