24 new charging points are being installed in Cardiff to make it easier for residents to switch to electric vehicles. Funded by Cardiff Capital Region, the new chargers are being installed in 12 locations with a focus on public car parks, close to shopping centres, parks and community hubs. More than £2m has been paid to thousands of Swansea householders over the last week as part of a scheme to help people heat their homes. The fuel support scheme that went live on the morning of Monday September 26 means eligible households are entitled to claim a £200 payment. Bowel cancer screening will be made available to more people in Wales as home testing is expanded to include 55-57 year olds. The expansion will mean 172,000 more people in Wales will start to receive easy to use kits that test for the early stages of bowel cancer.
