Cardiff Bus has announced that from Monday 1st August it will be operating a bus service between the city centre and St Fagans. Service 32 will run via Canton and Fairwater in both directions and will stop at all recognised bus stops along the route. Normal Cardiff Bus fares will apply on this service with day, week, month and annual tickets accepted on board. Twenty Nightingale House fund raisers have completed a sponsored trek along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru. The trek of a lifetime, along the world`s most important archaeological find and one of the new Seven Wonders of the World, had been planned three years ago but delayed because of the pandemic. The trekkers left the Wrexham hospice on 1st July for Heathrow Airport and more than 30 hours later arrived in Cusco where they started their trek.  Each of them was walking in memory of a loved one, including husbands, wives, parents and friends. THE cream of dairy farming in Wales are signing-up to produce milk for a £20m cheese factory that will run entirely on renewable energy. And given the growing appetite in the UK and internationally for its products, Mona Dairy is aiming to recruit more than 80 direct suppliers over the coming months. NatWest, the UK’s biggest bank for business with 40,000 agriculture customers, has today confirmed an additional £1.25billion lending package to the UK farming community. This is to help it deal with a variety of cost pressures, and to aid them in making the transition to more sustainable practices. GMB Union has delayed strike action for talks with RCT leader Andrew Morgan, with the first date of strike action scheduled for 30 July Eleventh hour talks have been scheduled for Wednesday 20 July between GMB refuse workers and Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council. If the talks fail then it could see 130 refuse workers strike in July, leaving around 108,000 homes without refuse collections. Bovine Tuberculosis experts have briefed Welsh Government Ministers at the Royal Welsh Show about the next steps in efforts to control the infection in cattle (Monday 18 July). Aberystwyth University academics met the First Minister, the Minister for Rural Affairs and the Education Minister in Llanelwedd to discuss the latest position with the disease. The discussions follow the Welsh Government’s update on the bovine TB eradication programme.
