The handover of the new Haverfordwest High VC School has been completed ahead of schedule. Headteacher Jane Harries was delighted to receive the keys from Mike Thomas, Project Director at Morgan Sindall at the end of July. The Company was awarded the contract for the design and build of the new school in October 2019 and, despite working during a pandemic, achieved handover two weeks early. Brave adventurers got the chance to abseil down one of Cardiff’s most iconic hotels and raise vital funds for charity in the process. Age Connects Cardiff and the Vale held its abseil event on Sunday the 21st August 2022 at the St David’s Hotel and Spa in Cardiff Bay which saw 39 courageous people taking on the challenge of abseiling 131ft down the hotel’s facade to raise money for the charity. Dozens of Swansea businesses have benefitted from specialist support to help attract more customers. As part of a Shop Doctor scheme run by Swansea Council, customer experience experts helped over 60 businesses in the city centre, Mumbles and Uplands to identify and address the key issues they face.
