Abingdon-based pressure-vessel fabrication specialist LTi Metaltech acquires Bridgend-based Vessco Engineering Ltd. The award-winning fabrication business, LTi Metaltech, completed the acquisition this week, with the former owner of Vessco Engineering, Julian Vance-Daniel, remaining in the combined group in a senior business development role. Soft drinks manufacturer Radnor, which produces the UK’s leading school compliant drink’s brands, has made the Anti-Bullying Alliance its Charity of the Year. Radnor Fam consists of the Radnor Fizz, Radnor Fruits and Radnor Splash brands which sell over 55 million units a year to UK school. BBC Children in Need has announced that it has awarded new grants totalling £395,242 to five local projects working with disadvantaged children and young people in Swansea. The new funding awards – made possible following BBC Children in Need’s 2020 Appeal in November – will support the delivery of vital services to young people in the area and means that the charity now has more than £1.6million invested locally. People living in Neath Port Talbot will soon be asked for their views on both existing and planned walking and cycling (Active Travel) routes in the county borough. This follows earlier Active Travel consultation which took place from November 27th, 2020 to January 15th, this year with a total of 2,642 contributions received and 1,040 people responding.
