The Welsh Government Transforming Towns funding was secured as part of Denbighshire County Council’s commitment to make the authority net carbon zero by 2030, and supports the delivery of the Town Centre Vision. A 29 year old Swansea man has been given a life sentence for the murder of a pensioner. The body of 76-year-old David Phillips was found at his home in Lime Grove in Cimla, Neath, on February 14, 2019. Tom Carney, 29, from the Morriston area was convicted by a jury and was given a life sentence today at Swansea Crown Court with a minimum term of 15 years and 10 days. Police in Aberdare are appealing for information after gun shots were fired into an address in Windsor Street, Trecynon at approximately 9.30pm on Monday, 1st February, 2021. The Welsh Government have unveiled a £55 Million funding package for Councils to encourage people to take up healthier travel for short local journeys.
