Originally from Bridgend, Rob Thomas, who still lives there with his wife and two children, aged 12 and 25, took up his new post in July 2019 in Cardiff. Cardiff Blues Flanker and City Hospice ambassador, Ellis Jenkins, has teamed up with City Hospice in Whitchurch to captain a team at a ‘Wales V Rest of the World Question of Sport’ fundraiser. The UK’s fastest growing car supermarket chain, The Trade Centre Group PLC is set to add their sixth outlet before the end of the year, opening up a new North West region with a 1,000 car site in Rochdale. An Abertillery man has been banned from keeping any animal for life and handed a suspended prison sentence after he failed to care for a large number of horses appropriately.  Edward George Bath (d.o.b 04/06/1961) of Arrael View, Abertillery appeared at Newport Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 3 September for sentencing after he previously pleaded guilty to four animal welfare offences. At sentencing – he was handed an 18-week custodial sentence for each offence – which are to run concurrently. Each are suspended for a period of 18 months.
