The National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth is to purchase a collection of original and iconic cartoons by illustrator Mal Humphreys (Mumph). The library plans to purchase Mumph’s complete archive of over 3200 cartoons, along with their copyright. Humphreys (Mumph) is known as one of Wales’ most talented cartoonists. Detectives in Cardiff are appealing for information following a burglary at an address in Old St Mellons yesterday (Saturday, July 28). Three men were captured on CCTV targeting the address on Began Road between 4.38pm and 4.53pm, having arrived at the property in a black Honda Civic, registration SE54 AGX. After smashing a patio door at the rear of the address, the three helped themselves to jewellery, designer handbags and car keys and a black Range Rover – registration LM68 JWP.
