Cardiff Bus customers are being advised of a road closure and bus diversions which are set to come into effect at the weekend. [aoa id=”1″] Llanedeyrn Drive in Llanedeyrn will be closed while a pedestrian footbridge is being demolished at Maelfa. The road will be closed from 08:00 on Friday 2 August until 18:00 on Sunday 4 August and services 57 & 58 will divert between Queenswood and Glyn Coch Road via Circle Way West in both directions. Nick Mayer and Molly Cadle, who work as client administrators at criminal record checks company Disclosure Services in Wrexham, both did a tandem skydive to raise money for Hope House. They jumped out of a speeding plane 10,000 ft above the Tilstock Airfield, just outside Whitchurch in Shropshire. Between them they raised £1,000 for Hope House which has hospices in Morda, near Oswestry, and in the Conwy Valley. Lauren Griffiths, 21, was found at a flat in Glynrhondda Street at around 6.30pm on Tuesday, April 30. A 22-year-old man, known to Lauren, was arrested that evening in connection with her death and later released on police bail pending further enquiries. A Newport woman who was diagnosed with a hereditary kidney disease in 2017 is set to run at this year’s Cardiff Metropolitan University Cardiff 10K, to raise money for race organisers Kidney Wales. Kathryn Benson was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease (PKD), a year after her mum received the same diagnosis. Because of the disease, Kathryn’s mum was on dialysis until just 7 weeks ago, when she underwent a successful kidney transplant. Detectives investigating the death of 49-year-old Richard Andrews have today confirmed a murder investigation has been launched. Mr Andrews, who was from the Melyn area of Neath, was reported missing to South Wales Police in January 2018, although the last confirmed sighting of him alive was Saturday 16thSeptember 2017.
