A former prisoner convicted as part of a conspiracy to import drugs into the UK has praised an award-winning scheme that allowed him to help addicts overcome their addiction, while he was in prison. Jeffrey Miller from Cardiff was convicted seven years ago for his part in a drugs import that saw him and two other men jailed for a total of 56 years for bringing millions of pounds worth of drugs into the UK. South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision which occurred on New Road, Neath Abbey, Skewen opposite Neath Abbey Infants school at approximately 15:35 hours on Thursday June 13th 2019. A 12 year old girl has sustained serious head injuries as a result of this collision and is currently being treated at the University of Wales Hospital, Cardiff. A CHARITY ball has raised more than £30,000 to help children with a rare genetic disease. Wrexham businessman Vaughn Rawson, managing director of Rawson Digital, and his wife Joanne, staged the event for the eighth time to help families coping with the rare genetic condition known as Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T).
