The Prince of Wales’ Charitable Foundation has made an “incredibly generous” donation towards a community campaign for defibrillators on every Heart of Wales line station. The donation follows a trip made on the line by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Charles and The Duchess of Cornwall to mark the 150th birthday of the line. Arriva Trains Wales is partnering with the charity Welsh Hearts to campaign for a defibrillator on the 28 stations solely on the line from Bynea to Broome. The Farmers’ Union of Wales (FUW) says the current and coming impacts of the weather on Wales’ farming industry should be a key focus for governments, and should not be forgotten amidst other important debates to do with Brexit and future rural policies. Housing and Regeneration Minister Rebecca Evans has announced a £5 million loan from the Development Bank of Wales and a £1 million Town Centre Loan for Cardiff Council which will be used to redevelop the Corys’ buildings in Cardiff Bay.
