A £90 million investment in Denbighshire’s schools has seen more than 3,500 pupils benefit from improved facilities. The first phase of the Denbighshire County Council and Welsh Government funded 21st Century Schools programme has seen new schools built as well as major re-developments of existing sites with a quarter of the county’s pupils having their educational experience transformed. One of the foremost Welsh-language writers, Professor Menna Elfyn writes with passion of the Welsh language and identity. Exhibits from the National Cycle Museum in Llandrindod Wells are being taken around the country to promote cycling and the Mid Wales visitor attraction. Last month, 30 cycles from the museum were displayed at the three-day World Cycling Revival Festival at Herne Hill, London followed by eight cycles being taken to Welshpool Transport Festival.
