A landlord has been sentenced for a ‘flagrant disregard of the law’ relating to a property that was rented out in City Road, Cardiff. Mohammed Abdul KowsorChoudhury, from Cyncoed, Cardiff, and his company, Pine Best Ltd, were fined a total of £54,000, with a further £10,000 in costs, when the case was heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on Monday (June 16). This image shows how a street plaza-style facility for skateboarding and other wheel sports will look at Swansea’s Victoria Park. Swansea Council will soon be advertising for a contractor to carry out the improvement works at the area of the park where the skate ramp is currently located. The Welsh Government has today announced a new partnership with Pride Cymru to administer the successful Grassroots Pride fund for 2025-2026, ensuring LGBTQ+ communities in towns and villages across Wales continue to benefit from local celebrations.
