Labour has fallen further behind in the latest Senedd voting intention poll, with Plaid Cymru now holding a clear lead over Reform UK, according to new research from YouGov/Cardiff University. The poll shows Labour’s projected Senedd vote share has dropped to just 10 percent, placing it level with the Conservatives and well behind both Plaid Cymru and Reform UK. A Rhondda Cynon Taf man has been disqualified from keeping all animals for life after he admitted to causing unnecessary suffering to a dog he kicked and hit. Christopher Michael Pillage and Julie Pillage, both of Perthcelyn, Mountain Ash, appeared at Merthyr Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 22 October and pleaded guilty to offences under the Animal Welfare Act. Cardiff will head into 2026 in a stronger position than this time last year to create jobs and attract foreign investment (FDI), according to the latest study from law firm Irwin Mitchell and the Centre for Economics and Business Research (Cebr).
