The total value of announced equity deals in Wales increased by 23% in 2023 compared to the previous year, however the number of deals fell by 8% for the same period. House prices in Wales rose through the month of June according to the latest Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Residential Market Survey, resulting from a rise in demand and a fall in supply. A net balance of 8% of surveyors in Wales reported that house prices had increased in the most recent survey, up from -4% in May and -8% in April.
