Recycle Right is an innovate digital tool that provides residents with easy access to accurate, real-time guidance on how and what to recycle.

Designed to operate like Google search, the new digital tool allows users to enter an item or material and in return, you receive clear instructions on how to dispose of it within the borough.

Recycle Right provides tailored, step-by-step guidance on the best disposal options available, ensuring that materials are either repaired, reused, recycled or disposed of in the most sustainable way possible.

The new digital tool is part of the Council’s Waste and Recycling Strategy to ensure Caerphilly meets and exceeds statutory recycling targets set by Welsh Government. It also provides residents with the tools they need to help them manage their waste more sustainably.

Cllr Chris Morgan, Cabinet Member for Waste said “We are thrilled to launch ‘Recycle Right’ which will support our residents to make the best waste and recycling decisions. If all residents use this new simple tool, it would have a huge effect on our recycling rates and the environment. The first step is knowing where to put your waste and Recycle Right can tell you”

Recycle Right can be used on any device, bookmark the page to make sure you use it when sorting your recycling. Click here: https://www.caerphilly.gov.uk/services/household-waste-and-recycling/what-goes-in-my-bins/a-z-of-which-bin-to-put-it-in?lang=en-GB
