Work has begun to bring fast and reliable broadband to some of the most remote parts of Powys after the county council awarded a contract to BT Group. Openreach is managing the full-fibre internet build for BT, which will connect 24 ‘hard to reach sites’ but will also benefit at least 78 more that are on route to them and possibly as many as 119. THE cost-of-living crisis, fewer marriages and a more settled period following the Covid-19 pandemic have contributed to a decrease in divorces in the UK.
