Narberth restaurant Annwn was awarded a Michelin Guide Green Star on Monday, February 5 at the 2024 Michelin Guide Ceremony for Great Britain and Ireland. South Wales Police are investigating the sudden unexplained deaths of a 40-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman at an address on Rhodes Avenue, Port Talbot. Officers attended the property at 9am on Monday 5th February following a welfare concern. Upon gaining access to the property, officers discovered the bodies. Forensics have attended the scene. Our investigation is ongoing and the coroner has been informed.
Specsavers is calling on the Welsh Government to improve access to community audiology services for everyone in Wales. On 6th February, Specsavers alongside host Natasha Asghar MS held an event in the Senedd, ‘Let Wales Be Heard’, to ask the Welsh Government to commission a national audiology and ear wax removal service delivered by community audiologists. If commissioned it would allow people to access NHS-funded hearing care on the high street, just like eye health services, rather than having to travel to hospital. First Hydrogen’s hydrogen fuel cell powered vehicle (FCEV) has been designed to meet the needs of fleet operators, such as WWU, who are seeking a zero emissions vehicle that can manage long distances, carry heavy payloads and tow, with fast refuelling.
