Baccarat – the favorite game of online casino players

Baccarat is one of the classic casino card games. Besides present in the land based casinos, baccarat also moved to online betting platforms, where many of the thrill seekers learned the rules and started playing. There is an exceptional variety of types of baccarat online – you can check the best ones at www.gameseek.co.uk.

The rules are simple enough to be learned in a matter of minutes by everyone. It is usually played with a standard deck of 52 cards, initially dealt to 2 per participant. One of the opponents at the table is always the dealer, and at least one player stands against him, but in theory their number can be much higher. Online casinos usually have a limit of 10 gamblers per table. In certain cases, an additional card is dealt to clarify who wins the round.

    The scoring is as follows:

    – Ace – 1 point

    – 10, Jack, Queen, King – 0 points

    – 2-9 – the points correspond to the face value

When the sum of the cards exceeds 10, the remainder over 10 is taken into account. If one player has 8 and King and another 7 and 6, the first one wins. He will have 8 points (8 + 0 = 8), while the second accumulates only 3 (7 + 6 = 13, a number over 10, so it calculates as 13-10 = 3). This may change when a third card is added. And here comes the interesting part.

It doesn’t matter whose hand is stronger, but who you bet on

The most important thing in baccarat bets, however, is not necessarily to have better cards from the dealer. It is of paramount importance where and whom you bet on. And the options in standard baccarat are exactly 3:

    – Player win

    – Banker win

    – Tie

In standard baccarat, the success of a player’s winning bet means that any of the participants has more points than the dealer /of course dealer is excluded in this case/. A prediction for the dealer to win is successful when he beats everyone on the table. The most difficult prediction is the tie, so with it the profits are many times higher. While a successful bet for a player or for the banker doubles the bet, the return for a draw is 8: 1 or 9: 1 in the various casinos.

It sounds somewhat contradictory, but here the player can win if he bets on the dealer against himself. The point is not to have more points, but to guess who will have the strongest hand.

In some varieties of baccarat there are also bonus levels at which there is a chance to win an amount in the ratio of 30 to 1. This is achieved when a successful 9-point bet is placed on the player or the banker. Such an accurate prediction is difficult and rare, so the payback is significant.
