Post Office has re-opened Barmouth Post Office this week at a new location – SPAR, King Edward Street, Barmouth, LL42 1AN.

The store now offers 37 extra hours of Post Office services a week for the convenience of customers.

The previous branch at High Street, Barmouth, LL42 1DW, closed yesterday (3/3) due to the resignation of the current operator.

Our priority is to safeguard our services in the locality in the longer term and the relocation of Barmouth Post Office will enable us to maintain our Post Office service to our customers in the local community.

The opening hours of this branch is Monday to Sunday: 7am – 11pm, throughout the opening hours of the convenience store.

Barmouth Post Office is a new-style local branch with Post Office services provided from a service point alongside the retail counter.

The majority of Post Office services are available excluding Passport Check & Send. Dollars and Euros are still available on demand, and a wider selection of customers can still be ordered.

Mike Ball, Post Office Partner Account Manager, said: “We are delighted to have relocated Barmouth Post Office to a new location to maintain Post Office service to the community. The relocated branch will also be open much longer hours than before for the convenience of customers.”
