Bastille will headline a Saturday night set at Cardiff Castle next summer, as the headline act at DEPOT in the Castle 2023.

Back in 2014, Bastille won Best Breakthrough Act at the BRIT Awards. Now, with over 11 million records sold, six UK Top 40 singles (including ‘Pompeii’, ‘Of The Night’ and 2018’s collaboration with Marshmello ‘Happier’), and over 1.5 billion video views, BASTILLE continue to be one of the world’s most streamed bands.

Bastille’s music has also gained exposure through television, appearing on shows like “The Vampire Diaries,” reality show “Made in Chelsea,” and British soap opera “Hollyoaks.”

And on Saturday 8th July, Bastille will bring their indie rock to the Welsh capital as part of Cardiff’s annual, two-day festival DEPOT in the Castle. Fans can expect to hear all their biggest hits as they make their debut at the iconic outdoor venue.

Based in the castle grounds, previous DEPOT in the Castle headliners over the years have included Kaiser Chiefs, Tom Grennan, Ella Eyre, Clean Bandit and The Fratellis.

DEPOT in the Castle is organised and run by DEPOT Live, the live-events arm of The DEPOT – one of Cardiff’s most successful events venues.

Nick Saunders, founder of The DEPOT said: “We are thrilled to be bringing Bastille to the Welsh capital next summer; we love watching the sun go down whilst listening to some fantastic live music – and there’s no better venue than the castle!”

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 25th November; pre-register now by clicking here.
