    Best Bingo Variants to Play

Bingo is a prevalent game in the US and the world, with approximately 100 million online players worldwide. Not only is it easy to play, but it’s also a social game that’s great for parties, community events, and making friends online.

Are you tired of playing the same old bingo game day in, and day out? If so, it’s high time you give one of its many variations a whirl. There are plenty of bingo variations to choose from if you want to shake things up.

Here are the best bingo variations to spice up your gaming experience.

    1. 90-Ball Bingo

Starting with the classics, 90-ball bingo is among the oldest bingo variations, tracing back to the 1800s. It’s favoured in the UK but enjoys a large fanbase in the States. The game involves a card with a rectangle consisting of 9 columns and 3 rows of squares.

Every row has 5 numbers and 4 blank spaces, so every card has 15 numbers and 12 blank spaces. The numbers on each card range from 1 to 90. You win the game by daubing the first, two, or all three lines (full house).

    2. Speed Bingo

This is a fast-paced version of the standard bingo game. In speed bingo, a number is called out every second, keeping payers on their toes and speeding up the game.

It’s a great bingo version to play on the go and usually takes five minutes or less to complete. The rules are the same as regular bingo and numbers are typically displayed on the bottom of the screen in case you miss them.

    3. Death Bingo

Death bingo is a scary title for such a fun game like bingo, but it’s just as entertaining as any other bingo game. You can think of death bingo as the opposite of regular bingo.

In Death Bingo, instead of checking out the number called out, you check out those that aren’t. You win the game if you’re the last player standing after the rest have been called out for having full cards.

    4. Swedish Bongo

Swedish, or 5-line, Bingo is a minor variation to the standard 75-ball bingo. Instead of having a single bingo card with a 5×5 grid where numbers are marked as they are called, Swedish bingo involves multiple cards, usually three.

Each card features a 5×5 grid with the columns labelled B-I-N-G-O across the top, and each column containing numbers within a specified range B (1-15), (16-30), N (31-45), G (46-60), and O (61-75).

    5. Slingo

Combine Bingo with a slot machine, and you get Slingo. This is a fun bingo variation where players get a card and a slot machine, cranking the slot machine’s lever to reveal their card numbers. The game aims to spin the slot reels until they match the numbers on your cards.

    6. Deal or No Deal Bingo

If you enjoy the popular TV game “Deal or No Deal,” then you’ll love Deal or No Deal Bingo. The premise is the same: players get their standard 75-bingo or 90-ball bingo cards but with Deal-or-no-Deal boxes above their tickets.

Each box will be numbered 1 to 75 or 90, depending on the bingo version you play. To win, you must finish one, two, or three lines. If the dealer calls out your box number, you get to choose whether it’s a “deal” and take the cash prize or a “no deal” and keep playing for a potentially higher (or lower) prize.

    7. Music Bingo

Music Bingo is one for the music lovers. This variation of bingo replaces the standard numbers on regular bingo with music snippets. Instead of bingo cards with numbers, the cards contain squares with a song title, a snippet of the lyrics, and the artist’s name. The game host will play music out loud and read the artists’ names out loud.

Players cross off the names of the songs on their cards until they complete a line or three lines. If you cross all the names on your list, you win. It’s worth noting that the line could be diagonal, vertical, or horizontal, depending on the game’s rules.

    Conclusion

Try any of the above Bingo variations to enrich your gaming experience and add more excitement to your bingo sessions. Whether you prefer the traditional 90-ball bingo, the fast-paced speed bingo, or the thematic and interactive music bingo, there’s something for everyone.

Experimenting with these variations can breathe new life into your bingo nights. You don’t have to buy entire gaming sets to play different bingo variations. The internet has plenty of bingo games for you, but you must find the right online casino. So, do your due diligence and find an online casino to suit your gaming needs.
