    You can now book for Santa’s Toy Mine 2018 at Rhondda Heritage Park

    Booking’s for Santa’s Toy Mine 2018 at the Welsh Mining Experience, Rhondda Heritage Park are now open.

    Rhondda Cynon Taf Council has once again granted permission for Father Christmas and his helpers to land his sleigh at its popular family attraction and he is setting up his Toy Mine at the former colliery from 24th November until 24th December 2018.

    A trip to Santa’s Toy Mine is a must during the festive season and while Christmas may seem some way off, visits are always in great demand, with many tours getting booked up months in advance, especially for Christmas Eve.

    Councillor Ann Crimmings, Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment, Leisure and Heritage Services, said:

     “We are delighted that Father Christmas has once again asked to set up his Toy Mine at the Welsh Mining Experience and he is looking forward to meeting everyone.

    “Christmas is always such a special time of year, and Santa’s Toy Mine just adds to the magic.

    “The Welsh Mining Experience at Rhondda Heritage Park is a popular tourist attraction throughout the year, attracting visitors from all over the world. Santa’s Toy Mine will no doubt add to the experience.

    “We look forward to welcoming visitors from all across the County Borough and beyond.”

    Each child who visits Santa’s Toy Mine will not only be guided on a magical journey, but they will come face-to-face with the great man himself and receive a special gift to take home.

    Accompanying adults will not be left out – they will get a hot drink and a mince pie upon arrival.

    At Santa’s Toy Mine, which is suitable for all ages, there will be magical surprises around every corner. Each year it is one of the most popular festive attractions around South Wales.

    Activities include; Make-Your-Own Teddy Bear Workshop and the opportunity for Photos With Santa (additional costs apply). There will also be Evening Tours, up until 8pm to Santa’s Toy Mine.
