Bellway recently held a Cars & Coffee event in Cardiff to raise money for its national charity partner Cancer Research UK.
The event was hosted earlier this month at Bellway’s Wales division head office in St Mellons with Brewed at 90 Degrees kindly providing refreshments.
Car owners who came along made donations to the charity, with funds raised on the day totalling £2,030.
Simon Hughes, Development Manager for Bellway Wales, said: “This was a great occasion with over 100 car owners turning up to share their love of classic, retro and modern cars and raise money for a good cause.
“We had a fantastic turnout, and some beautiful vehicles for people to see, including cars from every decade from the 1960s to the present day – British classics such as MG, TVR and Lotus, Japanese favourites from Honda, Toyota and Nissan and Italian exotica from Lamborghini and Ferrari. Lots of attendees were asking when the next event is going to be so it would be fantastic if this becomes a favourite in the petrolheads calendar.
“Special thanks must go to our event photographer Rachel Davies of @she.drives.the.lens Instagram fame for capturing the occasion.
“This is the second year we have held this event, and what makes it particularly rewarding to organise is that it also helps to support such a deserving charity.”
Bellway has supported Cancer Research UK for the past 10 years, and in that time has raised more than £5 million for the charity.
