Evans Halshaw has added Alfa Romeo to its brand offering for the first time. Operating from the Evans Halshaw store on Sloper Road, Cardiff, the existing Citroën, Vauxhall and DS dealership has now added the Italian OEM to the site and is now offering new car sales of Alfa Romeo, alongside Jeep and Peugeot.
The store now brings six popular automotive brands together under one roof with the additions of Peugeot, Alfa Romeo, and Jeep sitting alongside existing brands Citroën, Vauxhall and DS, offering customers a broader choice of new vehicles, used car sales and aftersales services. The expansion strengthens Evans Halshaw’s position as a key automotive retail hub for customers across South Wales and follows a series of developments for the retailer in Wales this year.
Customers visiting the Sloper Road site will now be able to explore the full range of vehicles from Citroën, Vauxhall, DS, Alfa Romeo, Jeep and Peugeot in one location, supported by Evans Halshaw’s experienced sales and aftersales teams. While the store previously supported Peugeot servicing and used vehicle sales, the location will now offer a complete Peugeot retail experience, including the full range of new passenger vehicles. The return of Peugeot to Cardiff also marks almost a decade since a Peugeot dealer was represented in the city.
Blake Jones, Head of Business at Evans Halshaw Sloper Road, said: “We are pleased to welcome Alfa Romeo and Jeep to the Cardiff dealership, while also expanding our Peugeot offering to see the brand make a welcome return includes our previous servicing offering and used vehicles alongside full new car sales. Bringing these brands together at Sloper Road allows us to offer motorists far more choice across the six brands we offer when they visit us.
“We look forward to welcoming existing and new customers through the doors and helping them find their next vehicle.”
The expansion for Evans Halshaw in Cardiff reflects growing demand in the region for a wider range of vehicles, while creating a more convenient single destination for motorists seeking new car sales, servicing, MOTs and maintenance under one roof.
The news is another positive step for Evans Halshaw in South Wales, following the announcement of a £1.7 million investment in its Ford dealership in Cardiff last month. The business is currently transforming the Newport Road store into a dedicated Ford Transit Centre designed to strengthen commercial vehicle sales and servicing capacity.
The redevelopment will significantly broaden the dealership’s commercial vehicle capability, creating additional workshop capacity and specialist facilities to support both retail customers and business fleets in the region.
