The exhibition has featured extensively in national media including BBC News, ITV News, The Guardianand The Times and it will be accompanied by a series of public engagement events at the Bodleian.

Tomorrow’s Mythopoeia: myth-creation and Middle-earthis a free, ticketed event featuring Dr Fimi alongside Professor Dame Marina Warner (Professor of English and Creative Writing, Birkbeck, University of London; also President of the Royal Society of Literature), and Professor Verlyn Flieger (Professor Emerita, University of Maryland). The moderator will be Professor Carolyne Larrington (Professor of Medieval European Literature, St John’s College, Oxford).

    Dr Fimi said:

“I’m really looking forward to contributing to this panel, which will explore Tolkien’s myth-making from different perspectives. This is an exhibition of international significance and I’m delighted to be part of it.”
