The park now features a circular entrance plaza off East Tyndall Street and improved paved connection to Ysgol Glan Morfa. New signage, new foot paths, new stone seating, and new bins have also been incorporated into the new design.

There are panels featuring historic photography of Splott and across the site, over 30 new trees, meadow areas, native planting, and a large open lawn suitable for events.

On the Western side of the park a new natural play area, Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA), and new skate park have been provided, after they proved popular options during the public consultation held prior to design being developed.

Cabinet Member for Culture, Parks and Events, Cllr Jennifer Burke, said: “This upgrade has revitalised the park for the community. With new play and skate facilities alongside lots of new semi-mature trees, shrubs, meadow planting and open lawn areas, it’s now a fantastic green space for all to enjoy.”
