    Cardiff’s newest Thai restaurant to open next month

    Busaba will be opening the doors on Thursday 21st October to its brand new Brewery Quarter restaurant. For their debut in Wales; think award-winning Pad Thai, Aromatic Curries, and of course your favourite Thai dishes straight ‘From the Wok’. Whether you’re looking for quality meat dishes or plant-based, Busaba is the perfect place to feed your soul, body, and mind. The wait is nearly over, with Busaba opening in the heart of Cardiff at the end of the month!

    Located in Brewery Quarter, Busaba will bring modern Bangkok eating to the heart of Cardiff. Busaba are passionate about sharing happiness and harmony, which is at the core of their Buddhist roots. Busaba’s living ethos is ‘Sookjai’, which is based on traditional Buddhist values of calming the mind and avoiding the everyday distractions that unsettle life. Literally, its meaning is ‘to enjoy’ and ‘happy heart’. Whether you’re a meat eater, vegan, veggie, or gluten free, Busaba will nourish you with their Thai flavours.

    Busaba opened 20 years ago in Soho, and ushered in a taste of exciting Thai style that London hadn’t seen before. It was radical and bold, with inspiring food and modern design. Queues down the street quickly became the norm. Make no mistake, there’s spirituality within their walls, and you can feel it, you can taste it. The team at Busaba call it Taste-Buddhism. This isn’t just Thai food. This is a unique uplifting experience, with Thai food included.

    Busaba will be offering cocktails and signature specials. Try their Bangkok mojitos, Guava bellinis, Patpong martinis, and the city’s first Mango Aperol. For the designated drivers, rehydrate yourself with an Apple Kick or a Koh Phi Phi smoothie.

    Terry Harrison, Managing Director at Busaba, said: “We specifically chose Cardiff for our first new opening since the pandemic began, as we see it as not only a fantastic, lively, and fast growing city. But also a place brimming with discerning diners, who we can’t wait to introduce the Busaba brand to. The prime location and excellent use of inside and outside space at the Brewery Quarter provides a vibrant setting that perfectly matches our creative dining ethos. We look forward to opening our doors to the public on the 21st of October this year.”

    Busaba has been serving up the very best of Thai cuisine all across the UK since the early 2000s and now Cardiff is seeing Wales’ first Busaba opening. With 9 other restaurants bustling with business, it was about time Cardiff got a taste. Customers are in for a treat.
