Ceredigion libraries to resume public use of computers

Ceredigion County Council was forced to restrict access to public computers at libraries, in order to minimise transmission of coronavirus in our communities.

As coronavirus levels continue to fall and following the successful roll out of the vaccine programme in the County, a decision has been made to resume the public use of computers in all council owned libraries. We will continue to ensure that the use of the library and the public computers will be as safe as possible, which will include wearing a face mask, maintaining social distancing and hand sanitising on arrival.

The public computers will be available for use to the public from 02 February 2022. To ensure that the library can carry out this service safely, a number of rules have been put in place which includes:

  • Wearing a mask (unless exempt)
  • Booking an appointment in advance
  • A maximum of 60 minutes will be available per appointment
  • One appointment per person per day
  • 15 minutes for browsing

You can book your slot by calling your local library, or by e-mailing [email protected]

People are reminded to remain vigilant and be careful at all times.
