The restructure has seen founder, Roger Harry, move from CEO to focus on strategy and alliances, whilst David Jones has been appointed CEO and Ben Marnham as Chairman.

Both David and Ben bring a wealth of experience in leadership and advisory roles and will work with Roger to drive revenues in excess of £30m over the next three years.

Circle IT’s Founder, Roger Harry, explains:

“This is the start of an exciting new phase for Circle IT. The past few years have seen us invest in both technology and headcount and these Board appointments are pivotal to driving the business further. Both David and Ben bring complementary strategic and commercial approaches to build upon our business strategy and help drive Circle IT forward.”

Circle IT was founded in 2002 by Roger Harry and went through an MBO in 2004. The business, which is headquartered in Cardiff Gate Business Park, currently employs 76 staff.

David Jones, CEO, has held senior management positions within the managed services sector and most recently was CEO of Esteem, which is now part of the Roc Technologies Group.

He said: “I’m delighted to be appointed to this role during an exciting and transformational period for Circle IT. We have seen the business develop significantly over the past few years and we have a strong national portfolio across both the public and corporate sectors, with clients including UKTV, Cardiff and Vale College and Dundee University.

“It is my job to now work with the highly talented team we have within the business and build the momentum to further drive our growth plans.”

    Ben Marnham

Ben Marnham has worked in the technology industry for 25 years and has served on the Board of multiple high growth businesses. Most recently he was CEO of private equity backed firm, Timico Technology Group, and later this year he will join the Board of AIM listed cloud service provider, Nasstar.

Ben added: “The growth that Roger and his team have achieved at Circle IT is extremely impressive. I am hugely excited to be joining as the business moves to the next phase of its journey.”

Roger added: “Both David and Ben are huge assets and their collective expertise and wisdom will be invaluable in driving our growth strategy, ensuring we deliver revenues in our core offerings of infrastructure, network managed services, IT support desk services and professional services, which include consultancy and project management.”
