A high-octane circus experience is heading to Cardiff this month as Circus Extreme returns with a brand-new show combining live rock music and death-defying stunts.

The production, titled “Rock It Out”, will take place at Cardiff City Stadium from Friday, May 17 to Sunday, May 31, promising what organisers describe as their most ambitious show to date.

Billed as a world-first, the two-hour spectacle blends contemporary circus performance with a full live rock band, delivering a fast-paced mix of music, acrobatics and high-risk stunts designed to appeal to all ages.

The UK has been chosen as the exclusive launch destination for the new show, which has been several years in development and aims to push the boundaries of traditional circus entertainment.

Audiences can expect a packed line-up of acts, including the Danguir Troupe’s Double Wheel of Death, where performers will attempt a world-first double somersault on a rotating wheel. The EXTREME freestyle motocross team will also take to the air inside the Big Top, performing mid-air tricks and backflips, while the Globe of Death will see riders race at high speed inside a steel sphere.

Elsewhere, aerial performer Skywalker Marlon will take to the trapeze high above the arena, while the Didyk Troupe will showcase their double Ukrainian swing with a series of flips and mid-air stunts.

The show also features a mix of comedy and visual spectacle, with Clown Edy providing light relief and Laura Miller performing an aquatic aerial hoop routine combining fire, water and acrobatics. Lucky Hell will also deliver a striking aerial sword swallowing act, performed while suspended above the stage.

Adding to the energy of the production is a full live rock band, complete with singers and dancers, creating a concert-style atmosphere throughout the show.

The event will be staged inside one of Europe’s largest touring Big Tops, complete with climate control and theatre-style seating.

Tickets start from £10, with organisers warning that demand is expected to be high.

Further details, including show times and bookings, are available via the Circus Extreme website.
