Charlotte has been promoted to Associate within the commercial property team specialising in secured lending and social housing finance.

Charlotte joined Clarke Willmott in 2017. She qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and spent five years specialising in commercial property. Returning to law after a career break during which she created and ran a Christmas tree farm and holiday accommodation business, Charlotte has spent the last two years gaining further experience and building her client base.

Charlotte is adept in advising landlords and tenants on new leases, lease renewals and licenses, selling and purchasing land, securing lending acting for both the borrower and the lender and advising on social housing tenancies.

[/aoa]Charlotte’s promotion is one of many internal promotions across the firms seven offices including eleven promotions to associate, three to senior associate and six to partner.

The promotions follow continued growth at Clarke Willmott which has also seen recent and planned lateral hires.

Stephen Rosser, Chief Executive of Clarke Willmott said: “Developing our people is absolutely fundamental to our business and this year I was delighted that promotions to partner included those who had originally joined the firm as paralegals.

“All those promoted have demonstrated excellent commitment to their clients and the firm as well as strong technical legal competence.

“Whether our staff began their careers with us or joined at a more advanced level we are committed to training and developing our talent.”
