Drugs, electric scooters, and mobile phones have been seized following a police operation in Cardiff.

Officers from a range of department, including Roads Policing Unit and the Dog Section, are working with local Neighbourhood Teams to target areas where concerns have been raised by the community.

Pentwyn, Trowbridge and Llanrumney, were the latest areas to get some focus from Operation Winsford on Friday (October 18) which included:

    • Positive drugs warrant at an address in Heddfan South, Pentwyn
    • A 42-year-old man being arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs
    • Three electric scooters seized from three men aged 20 to 24
    • Entry forced at address believed to be housing wanted people in Chapelwood, Llanedeyrn
    • Dangerous dogs warrant in Trowbridge
