The ever-popular Easter Egg-stravaganza returns on Good Friday, 15th April & Saturday 16th April with a traditional Easter Egg hunt PLUS a brand-new Underground Bunny Adventure.

Themed activities over the two days will include an Easter Egg Hunt and arts and crafts for just £3 per child, with accompanying adults free. A small children’s funfair will also be on site and rides are included in the ticket price.

All egg hunters can roam around one of Rhondda Cynon Taf’s most popular Tourist destinations, searching for giant eggs and of course, there’s a chocolate egg at the end.

An exciting addition to this year’s event is the guided Underground Bunny Adventure, grab your rabbit ears and enter the Easter Bunny’s burrow to see what they have been up to. Hop to it as tickets, which are £3 per person and includes the ears, are sure to sell fast.

Cllr Ann Crimmings, Cabinet Member for Environment, Leisure & Heritage Services, said: It’s fantastic to see events returning to A Welsh Coal Mining Experience, bringing our communities together and offering visitors a great day out at a special time of year.

“As one of the top tourist attractions in Rhondda Cynon Taf, events such as Easter Egg-stravaganza help us welcome a new kind of visitor to A Welsh Coal Mining Experience and we hope to see them return and enjoy the wider attractions on offer here all through the year – such as the Black Gold Underground Guided Tour, DRAM!, exhibitions and interactive tours, Caffe Bracchi, Craft of Hearts and more!”

Easter Egg-stravaganza at A Welsh Coal Mining Experience will be open from 10am  to 5pm on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th April. CLOSED Easter Sunday.
A Welsh Coal Mining Experience will be open Bank Holiday Easter Monday for Black Gold Experience Underground Tours.
